About a month ago the guys who run my gym were putting together a new website and I offered to take their head-shots. Lets just say they aren't my best work, but I think I did alright with the equipment I had. I got a few good shots off, and it was great practice and learning experience for shooting in a less than ideal lighting situation. Thank the universe for photoshop.
That being said, I love this gym. If you live in the Mt. Pleasant area you have to check out LowCountry CrossFit. Not only have these guys changed the way I think about fitness, they have inadvertently changed my outlook on life's challenges. To say that the workouts are tough is an understatement. My first day was a total body shock, as it is for most everyone trying CrossFit for the first time. Finishing that first workout was one of the hardest things I've ever done. After being pushed the point of physical exhaustion day after day at the gym, real world goals seem more attainable.
The other gym-goers are great also. I'm guessing it has something to do with experiencing the same misery as the guy (or girl) next to you. You're practically best friends when it's over.
Oh...did I mention I have muscles??? It's freakin' awesome.

And now for the gag reel...
